In Brazil, China, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Japan American Express traveler's checks must be exchanged for the local currency.

You can take traveler's checks for the amount of USD 10 000 (or equivalent in other foreign currency) on your business trip.

Main characteristics of VTM cards:

• the card is acquired for an amount from USD 100 to USD 10 000 (plus up to 5 additional cards using the pre-paid monetary fund);
• the card is issued in 20 minutes, and does not require opening a bank account and providing a TIN;
• cash withdrawal from Visa ATMs does not exceed USD 1 000 per day;
• cannot be refilled, the validity term is 3 years;
• entitles the owner to the use of a unique set of Travelex Latitude services (urgent assistance in the event of money or documents loss, medical help, urgent lawyer or interpreter services, hotel room booking, calling a taxi, etc.)

If you have unused traveler's checks from a previous trip, you can keep them until the next trip or exchange them for cash in the Bank on discount conditions.

• on Thomas Cook, American Express, Visa and Citicorp traveler's checks (checks in USD, Euros, and British pounds are accepted for payment); payment of cash on traveler's checks is carried out in the check's currency with a deduction of the Bank's commission fee;
• on checks accepted for collection
  (name and traveler's checks in the following currencies are accepted: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, DKK, JPY, NOK, SEK. Reimbursement on checks is paid in 30-40 days in US dollars or British pounds with a deduction of foreign bank and Pravex-Bank commission fees);
• on VTM Cash Passport cards purchased in PRAVEX-BANK (the balance on the card is paid to the owner in 3 banking days with a deduction of the Bank's commission fee).
