Documentary collections
Pravex-bank offers its clients the collection form of settlement. Collection transactions are carried out by banks on the basis of received instructions with documents with the following purposes:
- to receive a payment and/or acceptance, or
- to issue commercial documents against a payment and/or against acceptance, or
- to issue documents on other terms.
The use of the collection form of settlements is recommended in the following conditions:
- economic, political risks, when the risk of legislative changes in the buyer's country are assessed as minimal;
- the seller has no doubts in the buyer's honesty and paying capacity;
- there are no import restrictions in the buyer's country or the buyer received all the necessary approvals and permits for importing goods.
Under documentary collection, the bank carries out the following transactions:
- acceptance of documents for collection;
- return of incorrect orders, changes in conditions of collection letters;
- issue of documents against a payment/acceptance;
- return of collection in connection with a refusal to pay.
Clean collection
Clean collection is a collection of financial documents (checks, bills of exchange, etc.) not accompanied by commercial documents. PRAVEX-BANK operates through a number of correspondent banks that are able to act as collecting banks. Legal entities and individuals, as well as correspondent banks, use the services of Pravex-Bank.
