After getting a card

• Open envelope with PIN, remember PIN and destroy the contents of envelope. Do not write PIN on the card itself and do not save it with card.
• Write down number of your card and telephone to which it is necessary to call in case of card loss (theft) or in case of any questions. Save these records separately from card.

General rules

• Never inform anybody your PIN. Only you must know PIN. Nobody is entitled to require it: either bank's employees or ATM service staff or cashier in the shop or investigator. The exclusion is PIN-entry directly in payment terminal of the shop (usually on chip-cards and Cirrus/Maestro cards), and you should enter your PIN individually.
• Never give card for usage to any person. If you should give card for usage to another person immediately, draw up a power of attorney for card usage (do not tell PIN). Draw up supplementary card for long-term usage of your card account. Look here information about supplementary card.
• Do not leave your card anywhere. Especially in trade points, on tables in restaurants, in shops etc.

• To cash monetary funds in ATMs, keep vigilant for nobody to follow your PIN entry.
